Are you one of those people who think you can never meditate because you have too much on your mind? Or maybe you've got a practice but could use a group to stay consistent?

If either of these are true, consider joining me and a core group of experienced meditators to begin your practice, or to keep your practice focused and strong.

I used to think my mind was too active and my body too restless to sit on a cushion for any length of time. At some point, I realized that the cost of not meditating was too high. Distraction, overwhelm, anxiety, worry - I knew all of these could be resolved with a committed practice. So I dived in.

For the last 6 years, thanks to some very good teachers, the grace of life and my own dedication, meditation is now a daily practice.

I believe this practice to be hands down the single most important habit for leading a sane & centered life in this complex & increasingly busy world.

I want to make it easy for you.

Beginning next Wednesday February 6th, 2019 and continuing each and every Wednesday thereafter I welcome you to join me in a collective global online meditation.

We begin at 9:30 AM EST* and meditate for 45 minutes together. You may want to get online about 5 minutes early to make sure that you have access. Please mute yourself as soon as you join. *check worldtimebuddy.com for your local time

This meditation group, originally led by my teachers Thomas Steininger & Elizabeth Debold, has been gathering weekly for 3+ years with a committed group from Europe and the United States.

Next week, February 6th, we begin anew our practice with 6 highly experienced facilitators, including myself. We do this to support each other in our practice and to deepen our collective global connection. Meditating together - via phone or video conference - is a surprisingly powerful way to build this sense of connectivity.

Join us! The meditation is free. Whether you are new to this or have experience, you are invited. Bring an open mind and a willingness to participate.

A few important tips: 1) make yourself visible (turn your video ON) as this helps amplify our awareness of each other and the collective space

2) make sure to mute yourself as soon as you join 3) be fully present with the group ~ if you need to leave early just log off 3) please be situated and ready to dive in on time

A note about Zoom: this is a videoconferencing service. To use it click on the link given below and above. If you are new to Zoom you will be asked to download a small program when you first log in that will give you access to the videoconference. You also have the option to call in by telephone if you do not have adequate internet access. You will be asked to input the meeting ID, which is the same for internet and phone use.
